My lady has a 2013 double cab and wants a bench seat up front. Were there any tan interior bench seats in any of the 2005+ trucks that will bolt in once I remove the center console?

Where will you put the shifter for the transmission??? I feel like this would require a LOT of work. You'd need to swap out the center console piece as well.

You'd have to find a bench from a regular cab, but even then I don't know if it's a direct bolt-in.

Why the heck would you do that? If she wants a bench seat buy a regular cab base model

If you really need to haul six people at one time I would get a 4runner

If someone was to successfully install a bench seat in the double cab, wouldn't its position be non-adjustable? No reclining ability as well?

Added extra awesomeness to its original awesomeness.
Why is that? The bench seats in regular cabs recline don't they? Do they slide forward too?

Lol i have no idea that is why I asked. I don't think they recline as I recall seeing a thread where some guy took apart the seat and modified it to be angled back a bit more over stock to be more comfortable. I could be wrong. But as you see there are no levers on the side of the seat in the pics above.

It does look like it slides though...i can see a bar on the seat front.

It has to adjust for people of different heights. Never heard of a seat that did not move at all. Reclining sure, it might not do that, but it has to slide for height adjustment.

Yah sure it slides. Back and forth. This concludes the educational portion of the bench seat in a regular cab truck. Anything else is a mod.

They're also not generally thought of as comfortable as bucket seats, although I've always thought mine was fine.

Just tell if that's important she should just trade in and get a sweet 4x4 regular cab. They're really fun.
