    So then is communication still number one or lights for the night :) cause I see an awesome BAMF behind the grill light bracket however I would then need to change out my front grill. I dont really like the Nfab ones that mount and hold the lights towards the bottom of the fascia

    I did a night run in Oco back in Feburary with just stock headlights and I did decent, of course I ended up half way off the side of a washout... But that was because I was tryin to be racecar and keep up with Jeff lol

    Hmmmm. I find that very hard to believe. How much power does it have to transmit? The Icom can use a 5w signal.

    Me and the race team tried a bunch of top of the line Handheld radios and the Icom-V8 blew everything else away. If this $30 unit can compare that would be incredible.

    I am curious to try one out in the dez and see if it can reach as far and receive as well as my radio. We gotta try it out! If they are even close to as good its a great deal.

    I actually have this handheld and its works fine Matt did the mod for me and have no complaints with this at all. Theres a local shop off the 163 Ham store of some sort is where i bought it and they have the accessories there.

    Dumb question but do race radios use the same coax? Just wondering if I will have to run new coax for a race radio. Thanks.
