If it was worth the value I would for sure most likely cause a car like that would be about a million times easier to sell then my truck. But just a super quick look on craigslist, doesn't seem that fair.

I turned down this trade offer last week...

Exactly, vettes aren't worth that much actually. It was a '98 with 135K with some '04 upgrades on it. everything I saw had it at about $10-13K...

TPF race truck leafs are at deaver right now with less then 20 miles on them getting some reworking to get them more on par with what we want. Lifting the rear of the truck another 2-3 inches. Sorry but sitting low in a desert truck is not as cool as you think when it's kicking on stuff that it really shouldn't be.

Late to this party a bit but wanted to chime in on the "overkill" notion. I'm not sure what you classify overkill and I would venture to say that I guess it depends on each person's idea of what money they want to spend and why.

We have 3.0 4 Tube bypasses on the back of the race truck matched up to a 62" leaf spring. Obviously it's a race truck AND we got a deal on the 3.0s. But point being, the 64" kit isn't cheap so I feel like there is room for some debate if you're saying it's worth the extra money to take a 64" leaf pack over a 62" leaf pack but that it's not worth it to go a little bigger on shocks.

I don't know if I agree with the idea that its not overkill to spend the extra money for a Giant 64 kit over a Deaver 62" pack for two inches of travel or whatever, but that it IS overkill to spend a little extra money on a bigger shock to make those leafs work.

The threshold is different for everyone I suppose and you're always going to be chasing something.

Iv been contemplating the same thing. It's good with no weight but anytime I put something heavy in the bed it kills me how much bro lean there is
