    Well, just picked up my M101A3 trailer that is going to become my expedition / overland / camping / hunting trailer.

    I am going to strip it down - paint the exterior silver streak mica to match the truck and Line-X the tub. I'm planning on removing the military high-clearance axle and switching to a 5,000lb normal axle (to save weight) and run normal hubs so I can run the same wheel / tire combo as my truck. Right now I am planning on building a top that will support a RRT with gas assisted struts. I'm going to install a slide out solar panel, water tank, auxiliary transfer fuel tank, two batteries, a transformer, a Partner propane stove, and two ARB drawers. I figure that will provide me with everything that I need.
