have the trails gotten any better i didn't go this year just cuz last year was disappointing, a six hour drive for un maintained trails wasn't worth it for me. I went for the PRO GRT last year and everything was blown out then went again for another non race weekend and it was still terrible so figured save the money this year and hit whistler next year :D N* is only good like in the first few weeks of the season now it used to be way better i think. I must say tho china peak for how cheap it is (and being so close to me) i bet will be really fun in the next couple of years the PRO GRT course there this year was the gnarliest race course iv ridden even gnarlier than the races out at Bootleg Canyon in NV. Mammoth, and Snow Summit look pretty promising now too i wish i would have made it down south this summer and hit them up plenty of my buddies went several times and all had great things to say about them. Northstar needs to step up there trail maintenance game otherwise the other up and coming resorts are gona shut them out i bet. But Whistler will always be number one i need to go there

uh the trails were a little better than last year but it wasnt like holy fuck this is amazing, it was just like meh little better but still not good enough, they did do somework on livewire but after a few days it just went back to the ol' blown out livewire lol, i will admit though after the thunderstorm and hail on saturday live wire was pretty tacky and sweet sunday but thats about it, you didnt miss much not coming

My take on N* is that mtb is still a distant third to snow sports and golf. Always has been; always will be. If we stayed at their properties and ate at their restaurants, be a different story.

Which is not to say the place sucks, it doesn't. Just the reality is they'd rather invest more in stuff with a greater return.

HUh? oh... well youre a damn good photographer! Ever feel like coming out and snapping some more pics let me know. I ride in marin all the time. In fact, a few pages back there's evidence of my crappy photo skills on the Marinwood trails

Main reason I bought a tacoma was to haul around bikes easily. Here is the main ride:

Just bought his off a guy who changed from 26 to 29. I dont know much about bikes but a buddy saw it was for sale for $800 and told me it was a steal.

    Giant XTC Advanced
    Shimano XT
A bunch more extras you guys can prolly pick out that I am too ignorant to even appreciate.

I know the previous owner raced downhill here in guam.

Good choice. Bikes worth a lot more than what you paid.

Another shot of my bike and my truck. Had a good jump session today. That thing sticking up in the back is called the boner cannon... for obvious reasons.
