the $130 is probably the F1.8 and the $400 is the F1.4. Both are great lenses.

Well there are probably some other things, but I'm not good enough to tell the difference. That's why I have the F1.8 :D It really is an awesome lens.

Well just low balled the crap out of him and offered 450  see what he think. I really just want the 10-22. I think I'd be okay with the cheaper 50mm.

monty the tamron is just a smidgen behind the canon 10-22 efs(which I have)

when I used Tamron, the glass was good, and if the price was new to new I would jump straight to the tamron, but I managed to get my 10-22 for a better deal used

the price isnt bad, see if hell let you take a couple shots with it, and pull it directly to your PC see if you like it

Yeah, the price triples. Lower light capability and on some the bokeh is better.

Just wanted to post a few of my favorite shots I've taken over the last year of really trying to take well composed shots. I shoot with a Canon 600D typically with a cheapo 50mm f/1.8 or my 17-40mm f/4L. Sorry for the overload. Comments appreciated!

This one, the bench, and the mountain scene are my favorites. Dude you are nailing it! Awesome work!

Number 3 kinda confuses my eye as to where to look. Maybe it just me. Idk

You also did some awesome post work in those.

Did my first panorama (9 pics). If anyone sees anything I could do better let me know.

I hope the quality is still there. Original file was 221 megs, jpeg 9.1 megs and this one reduced to 4.1 megs.

I'm afraid to test out an X100S haha I really value small, packable, light weight things and I worry I'll realize my relatively giant DSLR and array of lenses will find there way to the back shelf.

    Great shot!

This is from a trail on the way to mystery lake in California. There was a fire going in so it really made some great tones.
