90 min IPA and Hop Rod Rye. Both around 9% and a good way to finish the night.

Texas is our 5th largest state so Old Jub for sure, and pretty sure on Rumpkin. I can check with sales tomorrow. Texas is big, so it does get spread thin.

Just send it all to the Central Market in Fort Worth and there will be no trouble.

Right now I'm drinking the last of the Strawberry wheat I brewed in July, and I just pitched the yeast on two batches of cider last night. Once they're transferred over to the carboys in a couple of weeks to clarify (should be ready in time for next spring) I'll get started on a pumpkin ale for Halloween/Thanksgiving, and maybe a nut brown ale or a vanilla stout for winter...

Damn it, now you've got me thinking about beer, and it's only 8:30 (which means I'm stuck here at work for another 9 hours!)

I just brewed 2 batches this past weekend.

Legend Brewing company brown ale clone, which is called
Ranchers Legend Pumpkin Brown (we added pumpkin and pumpkin pie spice to it)

    and

Dry Dock Apricot blond clone, which is called
Ranchers Apricot blond, this is the 2nd time we brewed this but this time were going to be adding apricot extract to it on top of the apricot puree that was added last batch.

here they are, right is the pumpkin brown. Left is the Apricot blond, pitched yeast on the brown first so it started churning already. the blond started getting active about 8 hours later

Have you got a link/recipe for the Pumpkin Brown you'd be willing to share? It sounds awesome! I've done a Pumpkin Wheat and a Pumpkin Pie Lager before, but not a brown...

Yeah let me go grab it quick and I'll send you a link. I added and adjusted a little for the pumpkin though

    http://www.brewtoad.com/recipes/legend-brown-clone

Instead of chocolate malt I used Extra Dark Crystal malt, and the additions were a large can of pumpkin at 10 min left in boil, 1 1/2 TBSP pumpkin pie spice on day 3 of fermentation and mixed that with a splash of vanilla and some water to liquefy the dry spice. Ill know how it tastes here in three weeks!!!! Cheers

not sure if it counts but im mid fermentation on a cider i made. i used three different apple varieties and a bunch of pears. i grew all the fruit so im excited to see the results. it tasted great as fresh pressed cider before putting it in the carboy.
