Word, thanks for checking it out. about to do a major over haul... and debating on changing the name up. Need to find someone to create me a logo...

It can be done.. I was able to get on the track when I first moved to Myrtle, This is from a few years ago... Im sure if I went back to edit now I could make them pop a little more.

I almost bought a GoPro. I was thinking off all the cool and extreme things I could record. Then it occurred to me that I don't do any of those cool or extreme things, so I opted out. I'm boring :) haha

I was too  Now I remember the 300 f4 being the same pretty much.

I'd just get the 70-200 f/4 if I were you, man. Pretty much the same image quality as the 2.8, with much smaller price, size and weight. And it actually has better image stabilization. You're giving up one stop of speed/low light performance to save a ton of money, size and weight. At the end of the day you'll be glad you weren't toting around the extra weight in my opinion. It truly is the middle of the line with an edge toward the top. It's the best of both worlds and a far better lens than the 70-300. Get the 70-200 f/4.

Well since Tony is back, what do you think? The 70-200 f4 or 70-300 f4.5-5.6 telephoto for $590? I know which one is better, but I'm mainly going to use a lens like this for mainly just moon shots and wondering if I needed to spend the money on the 70-200 for the good shots.

    EDIT: Nevermind. Lol ^

Well I'm pretty convinced the 70-200 is my best bet. It's just the money for it.. I still need 2 grand for the camera first. Lol

    70-200 f4

Better Image quality, constant aperture throughout the entire focal length, better optics, better VR, etc...

if you are going with a D600, wait for the D610. Apparently they have fixed the issues with oil getting on the sensor

I'll probably get it. Plus it will be great for other uses. I'm trying to think if my dad has this lens. All I know is that he has a 70-200.

Middle between the other two on length and price and only weights about 100g more than the 70-300. Also, has the closest focusing distance of the three by quite a bit, about a foot and a half-ish. No brainier, man. Best bet for anyone but a full time pro who really needs that 2.8 aperture.
