I like some of the rear bumpers but the frts are another story. I looked when I had damage but they are all very heavy and show to much suspension for me

There are a few aluminum versions available that are pretty light. I still like the ARB

What's wrong with a little suspension?

I know, I know. Total eff up on my part for not getting his info right away...

And yeah, Lesabre hit Sebring, Sebring hits me, I barely touched the car in front of me (about 3' away), then the Seabring came back for more and hit me again.

Me and the women in front of me concluded that neither of us had any damage in the front/ rear so she said she had better things to do and took off. I must have just barely tapped her.

Really want a plate bumper, but at this point I'll be happy to just have it fixed.

Did you get the info from the person in the Sebring? If so, go after their insurance, they're the one that actually hit you. Let their insurance worry about going after the LeSabre's insurance.

Unfortunately, all I have so far out of this mess is a broken ego and truck...

I'll have to wait till next week to go down to the station and get the accident report. My insurance agent (not company) said she would take care of everything for me. She said it's best not to get my insurance company involved and I agreed 100%.

I was just all worked up at the scene and I should have just calmed down and thought about what I needed to do. Damn.

Next question, anyone know a reputable body shop in the area that will put all OEM parts on my truck and do the job right?

I may be wrong but I was just told that they have to use oem parts cause you are still under warranty

In RI, after 3 years they don't have to. I know Allstate will also pay for aftermarket parts less than $1000.

I like Woburn foreign autobody in Woburn, MA.

REALLY good work, they match paint perfectly and have treated both of our 4Runners with intricate paint properly. My dad's 4runner had an 8 layer pearl paint job and mine is a pearl as well. Hard to match and tint, but they do great work! My insurance covered it 100%, and even my 05 got OEM parts!

I got in an accident 2 years ago with my SVTF and the scum bags were trying to put non SVT parts on my car. Ended up having to bring the car to a body shop in CT (I grew up with the owners daughter) and he fought Geico (no longer with them) to get me OEM parts.

Also, OEM parts for an SVTF are expensive as hell and not easy to come by. Took him about 2 weeks to source all the parts.

So that's what concerns me. I would feel more comfortable if my truck came out of the body shop as I drove it off the lot 3 months ago.

Plenty of good shops will use OEM parts, sometimes you just need to ask.

I pop mine when using my welder . It just doesn't have enough amps to run the welder . I ran it at Eric's house without popping his . I'm not a electrician though .
