Yes with the stock e locker . The 1100 dollar price was with the part and install. But just for the rear I just thought it sounded alittle high just from the threads I read... I don't know much about the gears all I know is my shit is slow with a 6 inch and 35 inch tires. So your saying I could find someone to do it for 700 with parts if I look around?

Can someone tell me or post a link of exactly I need so I could Order these parts online or what they used to put 4.88 bearings . My bearing are fine I just replace them. And your saying I'm going to need something else since I have the lockers correct?

picking up complete rear end today with 4.88's and arb locker in it from a guy on tw. I run 34'' toyo at's with stock 3.73 gears now and I just stay in 4 when driving bc if I dont it downshits too much. Hoping this with get me so get up and go back. and the locker is a great bonus but im 2wd :(.

Thanks guys, after reading this I feel confident 4.88 is fine for me!!

Oh yeah! You're rpms at high speeds might be a tad high for your liking (depends on the person) but I don't mind it with my 4.88's on 33's.

Thank! I have a 5 speed automatic but stay in 4th bc it downshifts if I let off the gas on the highway. Hoping the 4.88's will let me stay in drive and still get about 2500 rmp somewhere between 65-75? Can't wait!! I should get better acceleration too I hope from what I read. Got a killer deal too!

yeah that should work out just like you are expecting. I run about 2700rpm at 75mph so you might be just a tad below that.

Oh there is huge difference from stock gears/35 and 4.56/35's. When i was running stock gears i could stall out alot easier. A ton more Pep in the lower gears now. The automatic does little better with mpgs due to the final gear. When i am going 65's on the freeway i am doing about 2500 easily. I think the Auto does little bit lower. Yea i would get it done soon if you think the trans is suffering alot.

More than stock that's for sure. You probably still have me beat. The manual is geared a lot lower than the auto. My gearing is the equivalent of you having 4.11's but the torque converter makes up for that on the wheeling side and on the DD side my fuel mileage was basically unaffected. Other than I can't keep my foot out of the throttle around town because it's so fun:D Freeway mileage pretty much stayed the same though.

Around 2100k slightly over Never past 2250 when on flat roads. I'm in the hill country of texas, so my trans is always shifting up and down
