that is funny you have winn-dixie in La. I though that was a north and south Carolina thing

Who hasn't..they are the best.

A close second is Las Marias in Monrovia on Foothill

There are a ton of Waffle Houses in LA

From LA to Georgia there's two Waffle House at every off ramp/ on ramp along I-20. One south of the highway and one north along the highway

 

When do you drive I-20? You had to have passed right through my hometown

 

That's not Waffle House. The waitresses aren't ex strippers and I'm sure the food there is way better
