ive got an 08 with 204,000kms. probably spent about 4-5k on parts. wheel bearings have been done 2 or 3 times. brakes 10+ times. front calipers have been done 5 or 6 times. just bought new control arms and tie rods. gona need a new steering rack pretty soon and the rear leafs are shot.

still even with that i will never sell this thing. once the motor goes its getting a 383 stroker. :D

It's new......mods starting soon. Removed step bars so far. lol
most of the people that replied also have first gens....this is a second gen thread. thankfully i do all my own work but before the truck was out of warranty i had a new clutch and throw out bearing installed with machined flywheel because i was having issues at 19k miles. also had the blower motor swapped out.Rear u joint also warranteed as its needle bearings failed.after warranty i had an 02 sensor fail which was about $270 for the part installed myself.then my alternator failed.another $200 bucks there but i managed to score an american built lifetime warranteed one which was cool.then i also had my tensioner pulley bearing fail, think i got that for about $60 bucks and again did it myself and put a new belt on while at it. $25 for a good belt. Tranny would go in 1st and reverse crunchily so i swapped the oil for redline.theres $75 and serviced my rear diff with royal purp at a $50 cost. Now i have a broken leaf spring.im awaiting my Alcan packs from Wheelers Offroad along with my Billy 5100s....theres $800.these trucks are not cheap and not built nearly as stout as the first gens. I miss my 04....i do love my new truck but its more like owning a super car ( maintenance cost wise ) than a truck.lol.I daily drive my truck do very light hauling and moderate offroading but never abuse the truck

i forgot the routine oil changes with Castrol Edge 5w-20 and Bosch filter for 50-60 bucks a pop every time the service light comes on, also air cabin filter changes and swapped to a K+N serviceable filter for the air box.....and my truck is at 64k miles

Ahhhhh don't use K&N. Bad filter! I've never seen my service light come on! When's it usually come on at?? Anyone I've hit 8000km I always change it! But I mostly do highway drive to so prob why I last extra amount of time!

So far i've spent $120 on some used bilstein shocks, $49 on a alignment, and pretty soon i'll be spending $500 on some new BFG A/T KO's (265/75/16)

    So, $669 so far.

Almost 10k miles on my '13 and I've spent nothing. Unless you want to include the $8 I spent on new inserts, clips and screws for when I tore my mudflap off.
