    As for the fram plates. You can do em with the bed on. You also don't have to do frame plates if you box the frame. So..ours pick one haha

    You wanna relocate the shocks too huh?? Sweet :cool: and why a bigger pump...unless...your..getting a SC!?!!? Sweet.

    Alternator would be easy :D haha

    Been thinking about one. It does mean spending another 4 grand tho.

    Between this thread and the one earlier in the week in the 1st gen section. It is tempting. Also, two local guys have done it this year so there is so local experience.

    Do you kno of anyone running the SC off the GM alt pulley? Any issues there? Isn't that the belt the SC uses?

    Actually most the threads I found where if SC trucks. It actually works better. Ou don't need a different belt due to the dynamic tensioner.

    So you can still fit it easily and it works well.

    And nice :p the 4.88s didn't fix everything huh? Hahaha told ya :D

    I'm sure you could install the sc yourself. Pretty simple.

    However..I refuse to allow you to wiring in the URD 7th injector piggy back ecu..no. Let me do that please haha

    Well break starts the 20th and I have to be back the 15th of jan. so ill be there around the 22 to 13th or so.

    But I be I leave early. But will take me two three days to get back as I'm stopping in Denver to help Madjik do a front end swap.

    But a URD wire job is like 2-4 hours haha

    Haha I'd be glad to do it as well a few other things :p sheesh..I should open a shop at this rate...

    just the small MAf programmer like what you have but for a 5vzfe V6 in URDs 7th injector kit.

    Mike is wiring..challenged..you would have a heart attack looking at some of his stuff haha

    But Gage is going to get a URD SC for his truck so we are probably gonna host a mod day or two to get that in and maybe a clutch for Jeff.

    Then have a SC show down :cool:

    Not sure what you meant by this. Installing 4.88s has made a huge difference in the way the truck drives on the highway and on the trail.

    Anyone who re-gears expecting to increase horsepower is a fool. I certainly did not expect more power by going to 4.88s. And I'm certainly not disappointed.

    The purpose of regearing is to get back what has been lost by changing the final drive ratio when running larger tires. No more than that.

    I don't see the connection you are making between re-gearing and supcrcharging,

    Everyone says the truck feels more responsive..which it should..and more peppy. Which it should due to the increase in torque delivery.

    But m mostly giving you shit cause every time we have talked about regearing and sc you've never supported sc. Or even mentioned wanting one haha

    Your right, people do say that. But, when we put bigger tires on we tend to deny we lost any performance. How many times have you heard people who have gone to 33s say that re-gearing is not really necessary. I say that is hogwash. :p

    It is human nature to downplay the downside to bigger tires. Afterall, we just spent a huge amount of money to get them as well as work to make them fit. So when we re-gear, we typically dont want to admit we had ever lost anything in the first place. :)

    No, after re-gearing, all we did was get back to where we were before. :cool:

    Going with an SC is a complicated endeavor. Realistically, there are a lot of layers. The fuel pump deal is an example. Still trying to get my head around the whole thing. You know me well enough to know that if I do this, I will be conservative but it will not be a half-assed effort.
