engine noise after shutoff

    After shutting off my engine there are strange noises from the engine compartment. Dealer says normal for the 013 Taco double cab. Is this true?

    Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
    You have a vacuum pump under the hood. It turns on before and after engine start and shutdown I believe. It's for emission stuff.

    My engine does the same thing. By the way, is your 2.7 liter very noisy? I just bought a new 2013 2.7 liter regular cab (4 x 4) and the engine seems awfully noisy.
