    We just did a timing cover reseal to fix a leak/seep and various other tuneup work (all fluids drained). We ended up with a piece that we don't recognize. Any help?

    edit: I think it may possibly be there to channel any possible water running down that black channel away from the alternator connections directly under it... :notsure:
