    I drive ~50 miles daily for work and noticed it is helping the most on flat ground. I have to drive over a hill so I fight it halfway and coast down the other :)

    still managing to maintain 17+ mpg with 33's(255/85) with a lot of armor.

    I drive a hilly 40 miles daily roundtrip and I didn't notice much on the mpg gains. For me the powerband shift down in RPM was the fantastic part. No more contstant downshift in traffic on my variable speed hilly commute. Rarely get it over 3000 rpm now, which should have helped mpg but haven't noticed over 1/2 mpg variance.

    White, debadged, Mudflaps removed, ICON 2.5 in front, 2.0 in rear, all 4 corners have reservoirs, Spidertrax wheel spacers all around, BAMF bolt on sliders, Avid lightbar, oem transmission cooler converted to power steering cooler, aftermarket transmission cooler eliminating all oem transmission cooler stuff, remote mounted spin on transmission fluid filter TrueTrac rear differential, rear diff housing vented and filtered into left side bed box, URD MAF calibrator, Volant intake scoop into oem airbox, second filter removed, airbox internals smoothed, blended and polished throttle body, NST intake manifold spacer, Wet Okolee set covers, WeatherTech Digital Fit mats, inexpensive JVC single DIN, Scangage, AVS Stepshield door sill protectors, Doug Thorley Long Tube Headers, URD Y pipe with O2 sims.
    Plan ahead in regards to the intake supports. My lightly used NST spacer came with 2 out of three brackets, and these were already trimmed.

    It's not difficult, just be prepared if your spacer does not come with them.

    You might also consider cleaning the il residue from inside the manifold and throttle body while apart.

    Exactly how does this affect performance? I don't know much about exhaust flow dynamics, so I don't understand how a simple spacer could make such a difference.

    My truck does "feel" more driveable. Similar to what others have said, and from the basis dyno runs on the NST Spacer.

    I am close to having run 1 tank of fuel through it to see if mileage does come up.

    The scangage display was reconfigured to show MPG constantly. Pretty depressing to see the low numbers while pulling away from a light.

    Funny how much of a doubter tooter is, when he doesn't have a v6 4.0 truck as far as I know? Not sure why he keeps popping up when the results either way wouldn't effect him, other than to just create doubt for people. So far the 30 or so people who have bought this spacer have not complained at all. Not to mention there are dynos showing these spacers do have gains. There is nothing different between my spacer and NST's spacer other than the gasket design. There is nothing stopping anyone who has purchased one of these from doing their own dyno. I just don't currently have time to do a dyno test during the week. Time is always short for me. I would love to have the results to put the speculation to rest, finding a shop to do a run on a weekend and the time to do it is difficult here. I work 3 jobs, time is a luxury I don't often have. I will get them done when I get things lined up. Test truck, dyno shop, time...
