You would need to go to the hardware store and get the correct size zerk fitting . The one on your stock ujoint are to big to fit in that new one. I ordered those by accident myself .

Good to know the OEM ones won't fit.

Thanks for the link, I spent a while trying to determine what I needed to grease those fittings. I came across something similar at Alemite but couldn't determine without doubt if it was the right one. Might just buy that head if I can't find new zerks. I didn't realize the implications of that zerk otherwise I would have just purchased the 'Moog Premium' u-joints that come with the regular zerks. Live and learn I suppose

Me thinks that bike was laid down hard and cracked the frame. I'm guessing when they re-welded the frame it was not done properly and it cracked the shitty weld.

That needle is what we used when I worked at a dealership to repack cv joints. We would cut the small crimp clamp and slide the needle along the shaft into the boot and grease all the joints for 1 hour flat rate

What do you mean, even with that attachment, it won't properly lube the u-joint?

If so, I'm definitely swapping them out to standard fittings.

I would love to know the real story. The frame is cracked on both side in the same spot. The motor mount is broken on the right side and the radiator isnt secured on the left side. I found a three wire plug melted as well as two of the wires melted together.

I think I found the zerks at tractor supply the other day. It was in a kit of about 40.

I would bet money that it was laid down while some idiot tried to pull a wheelie with it. Something slow speed but a hard impact on the frame.

Zerks that will replace the ones that came with the u-joints? I might have to make a trip to TSC.
