Winches are on my wish list......behind a sound system. The stock stuff stinks, especially when using the Aux cable to an Ipod or phone.

Yea I hear you on that one. Still have been able to get clear answer on what kinda system I would need for a stero cause I listen to mostly hard rock and heavy metal.

As far as for the winch might have to bite the bullet go with Xeon 10k s.

I am done with mods for a bit now cause I am VERY happy with my results! I did just install new headlights today cause my blacked out @ home ones started to fill up with water.

I have noticed that this thread is dying, WTF?

The front end took about 4 hours and the rear took about 2 hours with making all of the adjustments to the front to level it out.

What tire sizes are you guys running on an 18" wheel? I'm beyond confused what to get.

Seems like my only options are a 285/65/R18 or 285/75/R18..

Do you have a lift? I assume so since you are posting in the 6" thread. A lot of these guys run 35x12.50 because they can. I run a 285x75, but on a 17" wheel.
You have no pics so I cannot see for myself. So please, give us some info so I can attempt to help you.

I heard you still have to trim a lot for 35's. Apparently 295/70/18's work pretty well.

Yea, 35s need trimming and gears at some point for sure. I used to run a 295x70 but I just like the taller thinner tire more and have zero issues with rub even after I dropped down to 5"
Are you planning on an MTR or AT?

Definitely a MTR. I'm afraid a 35 tire will cause to many issues. I'm thinking a 295/70 will provide a nice beefy look and I don't mind the wide tire look?

They say a 35" tire, with a 18 or 20" wheel. But from what I've heard you'll still have tons of rubbing without issues. That's why I'm thinking if I go a bit smaller, I will have less possible rubbing issues.

Both Toyo and Nitto make tires in 295x70r18 and Ive had both. I can honestly say I didnt care for either one. I now have the Toyo ATII and this tire is awesome! Agressive tread design, high miles and great factory warranty of 55k.

Did you have any rubbing issues with that tire size?

Rubbing will happen if you have the wrong offset wheel. I rubbed on my sway bar at full crank because it was next to impossible to find a wheel I liked in the offset that PC suggested. I even went with a PC wheel and they didn't make it in that offset (f#ckers) I ended up taking off my sway bar like most of the guys on TW do and dont regret it one bit or miss it.

If you like the fat mtr look, go with the 295. Its almost as wide as the 35 just not as tall. You wont need to re-gear and save a bit of $ over the 35.
Both the nitto and toyo are aggressive and noisy when low on tread and expect 45k or less out of them if you spend more time on the street.

Bottom line IMO, the Toyo ATII is still the better choice and they make it in that size. Thats my 2c, take it or leave it.

    Good luck man!!:D

EDIT: put up some pictures & make a signature! show off your taco!!
