    You're time would be better spent cleaning it up and hitting with some paint yourself anyway. I'm a firm believer that no one I would send it to, would be as concerned as doing as good a job as I can.

    Spray it yourself then undercoat with oil.

    Buy a wire wheel brush for your drill and get after it. Once you've got most of the rust scale off to your liking, then hit it with some rust stopper primer and paint. After you've given it a little time to cure, x amount of days or whatever, then you may as well get ready to coat it for winter. Seems like all the guys up in your part of the country use fluid film. So, I'd check into that.

    Rust warranty is for rust through typically also for the rare situation of poor paint prep that leads to a surface rust on a body panels.

    No car company warranties surface rust on undercarriage or associated parts.
