If dude punched him like that in the face and he wasn't a buddy, he would have got mobbed on. Seattle is legit, whole NFC West is looking good, Niners looked like crap, definitely are out of their element in the game last week. But we will do well. I just feel bad for luck because our D will likely thump him as an anger bang in response to last week. I'll be there, like every other game ;). I hope we match back up in playoffs just in SF so I can be there for the game. I had 4 tickets to the NFC championship game last year if Seahawks hadn't lost it would have been an awesome game. Super Bowl was off the hook too. All the VIP parties in New Orleans were off the hook

    1)it's seattle's home crowd
2)they still snapped the ball and initiated the play
3)12th man in that field helps on every play OTHER than that one - it was designed with audio engineers to reverberate to deafening status, they broke a guinness record for f*ck sake.

Obviously the delay and the whistle and all that played to the Niners advantage like Chris Collinsworth was saying the whole time. Even in a lopsided win Seattle has to complain about something. Chris Collinsworth just hates the Niners since they whooped his Bengals in 81 superbowl.

If you want to talk about a BS call, The tripping call on the steelers that took back a 35-40 yard gain was real BS on Monday Night, and I don't even like the steelers.

Can't believe I'm going to say this, but I have to agree with Chris and Shag on this one. The whistle from the stands is a moot point. The 49ers didn't get any point off the turnover and ultimately we won by 26 pts. Now had the niners scored off the punt recovery and we had lost by a touchdown or less it'd be a different story.

Look Seattle Fan, I like your city, I like how they situated the stadium, right on the waterfront in downtown, it's probably a pretty fun experience but the fact of the matter remains, Carrol has a road record just a tick above .500, he's 18-6 at home IIRC, it was your team that had the first false start penalty, not SF. Your team really didn't play all that great, we played terrible, no excuses there and before you Seattle Fans start claiming that I'm whining I would say that the 12th man, in light of the drastic difference in home and road records, represents a definite advantage for what is basically a good football team, not a great one. Great teams go into any other stadium and pull out wins in the playoffs, in your case, piped in noise, stadium acoustics represent an advantage that coaches grapple with but cannot control like they can with what happens on the field of play. When you team comes to SF I fully expect to see a good football team that will lose to SF because it doesn't have the 12th man on their side. Last year we beat GB in their house, and ATL, in their house and in the playoffs so until Carol can show the NFL that he can roll into anyone's house and take them when it matters most then he has just a good football team that is a few ticks above mediocre.

This argument is terrible and frankly, you're better than this. Try harder.

Carrol's road record is for the most part irrelevant. Just as the 49ers record anywhere was before Harbaugh showed up. The Seahwaks were an average team his first two years, a good team his second year and most believe a great team this year.

They were 3 and 5 on the road last year but won 3 out of their last 4. W @ Chicago, W @ Buffalo, W @ Washington, L @ Atlanta. Considering the home team always has an advantage, we were the better team than Atlanta.

This year we are 1 for 1 on the road. That's 4 out of their last 5.

In the NFL average teams lose on the road, it's expected. Good teams lose most of the time on the road, also expected. Great teams win half or, slightly better, of the time on the road, again expected.

The Seahawks will go 7-1 or 8-0 at home and will win "most" of their road games even with a very difficult road schedule. I see 12-4 or 13-3 with all of those losses coming on the road.

You have to look at recent history, Seattle wasn't a good/great team until their offense evolved at the mid point last year. Comparing Carrol's road record of the last 3 years to this year is a whiny excuse making 49er fan digging for anything after being thoroughly embarrassed twice, in a row. Your QB can't handle the pressure. Ours relishes in it. If as a team the 49ers play well, Kaepernick plays well. If they struggle when playing a superior team, he caves and hides. Wilson is the opposite, just look at the Washington, Chicago and Atlanta games.

I just wish Aldon Smith would not piss away his career, arrested for DUI today. All bad. Confirmed by a contact at Bleacher Report. Hope he can play Sunday and get his act together. We have a great team and we don't need distractions from the prize.

All told, NFC west is the best division and has the best rivalries going on. I didn't miss games even through Singletary times, and will be hitting every game since his is the last year of me having season tickets. I'm personally glad the Niners and Seahawks are such close teams, very similar dynamic, good fan base, close enough fans can travel easily. And I dunno if any of you have ever met Hawk Daddy, but it's a grown ass man in a pimp suit holding a cabbage patch doll in a pimp suit that matches. Have met him a couple times, he's hilarious.

We just had an off week, media played it up, team played scared and tried forcing opportunities that backfired with poor communication and play calls. Seahawks played better football last week. Fact is they are the two main powerhouse teams in the NFL. I am looking forward to beating them at home later in the year and again in the divisional playoffs. The rest of seattles home games are easier, and the road teams are harder, which could bode very well of the Niners, as long as they wake up from the fact everyone is going to play them as rivals since they are heavily favored after Karla breakout season and Super Bowl last year. I can't believe how bad Gores rush yards were and that Boldin didn't even show up either. Very odd. We can't live off the killer D forever

Loud is part of the game. I lose my voice every week, and my girl even yells louder than most dudes at games, and she doesn't need to be told loud on D and quiet on offense

Farewell Candlestick... gonna miss my seats, or I may take em on the last game, bring a socket wrench :) And you can clearly see I hate noisey/loud fans, lol. I probably dropped $20+k on football last year alone. Born and raised a 49er Faithful. Yea, I'm one of THOSE fans. I have multiple rooms full of niners stuff from over the years, hoarder status. I would be faster to count things that ARENT niners stuff.

It's pretty hard to find a vehicle in the bay without Mary Jane in it... people borrow weed like neighbors borrow a cup of milk or some sugar. Still, all bad. I don't condone his activities off the field.

Joe Montana is the greatest QB in NFL history. Period. SF shit on him during the whole 'QB controversy' BS with (the overrated) Steve Young. Anyone can come in and look good when the team's already that complete around them. I lost a lot of respect for the 49ers as an organization over that shit that I've never regained.

Hearing pundit DBs on TV today squaking about how little tommy brady might be as good as Joe Montana makes me want to puke. Tommy Boy couldn't wash Joe's jock.

Couldn't agree more... Like when Moss said he was the greatest receiver of all time, and he is wayyyyy down the road in the shadow of Rice, who is one of the hardest workers, classiest acts, and just best athletes ever. Honestly the whole Montana/Rice Young/Rice era made my childhood amazing. They were like gods growing up.
