Prerunner style tacomas

i was thinking of making my tacoma look like a prerunner truck. Does anyone have a set up thats looks like a prerunner.
like these...


ones with Light bars, tire gates, fiberglass fenders, roof racks, wheel spacers, long travel kits, prerunner bumpers? thanks

yea i was thinking of the camburg lt kit and their fiberglass fenders then get the wilco tire gate and the n-fab light bar etc... any suggestions?

 

Camburg is a great company. I know a guy on here that is going to buy an engage lt kit. check out this thread

And if you do go longtravel I would get a whole new front bumper and skidplate rather that the n-fab.

 

it's a nice choice but its expensive. Your looking to spend well around 5 grand if you want LT, coilovers, bumpers, fenders, etc.

 

Exactly what does it mean to be a prerunner? Do they primarily run trails in the desert? Sorry, I know I've heard the term but just never really knew what it meant. Also does it matter if its 4X4?

 

Yes, that's the concept. Desert racing, dunes, etc. And it doesn't matter if it's a 4x4. Someone can have a 4x4 and decide to "Prerun" their truck and long travel it for desert racing and stuff.
