    That client paid up, he's weird, I think he might be ever so slightly schizophrenic plus in his culture every price can be haggled, even after the deal has been made, stressful for me, not what I wanted on a sunday going into a stressful week. I have to finish up rocking up these walls and staircase on the front of a house by tuesday, my guy is good at it but I haven't done this much so I'm keen to make it look really nice. We're mortaring flagstone vertically, I'll post pics when it's done. Then maybe Wed off then I have to do a job I bid but really didn't want, Irrigation valves and shut off valves with the pipes encased in concrete, the concrete has to be cut open so everything can be reconfigured and replaced. I looks to be around four inches deep but I won't know until I start cutting. Renting a cut-off saw for this one. These jobs can go sideways and I was in competition with another contractor. I took a lot of time over emails explaining the job to the client and bid fairly high hoping the other guy got it. He very well could get into it and start wishing I had got the job. What I didn't know with this new client is that he's an engineer and I think my detailed explanation won him over, even though my bid was a little higher. :eek: Then Friday is a maint route, Saturday is a TW family day BBQ I'm hosting then maybe Sunday and Monday off (I hope).
