The runner is appealing to me with the power it has but the way I see it is that it has the balls to snap the stock Toyota drive train behind it. It's got a manual valve body as-well appealing to me. (I have a fetish for carb'd american V8's if ya didn't get the hint) That's the only thing i want it for. But I have a thing for bike too and I think I'm gonna get the bike so I can have my doses of high speed wooded fun and thrills.

 

Go for the YZ..

 

I'd say go for something like that in the future if you build it yourself and know it is done correctly. Just seems like this could be problems waiting to happen.

Nice..I'm with you on the old carb'd V8 love there man. Still hating myself and my father for selling my old 73 Buick I had as a teenager..

I scooped that car up in 1992 for $150. 50K one owner miles..had the manual, window sticker, sale contract included. Full vinyl roof with no rips. 2 spots of rust that hadn't gone through the metal yet. Paint was junk but for 19 yrs old I can live with it. I had to change 2 brake lines only.

Dad made me sell it, I had 3 cars and only 1 plate. Tried selling my Monte Carlo but the kid who came to look at it saw the Buick and made me a great offer that my dad insisted I take. GRRRRR

You know what they say about black three inch slits, right? I have no idea where this is going but I think the biggest concern is the chunk he took out of his wheel.

Squid time

 

I rode squid around Billy's neighborhood for like 10 mins. I do not like it. I had a sweatshirt, shoes, and mesh shorts. Granted I was only doing 15-25, but still, not a good habit, especially when it's so god damn cold out today

 

Jeans and a hoodie with work boots and a helmet.

 

F-that, today is one of those days where a leather jacket would be perfect to cut the wind.

 

Anyone have the need for some 48" fluorescent light tubes? Still trying to clean up the mess in my basement from the previous owner (had a wood burning furnace and stored the coals in the jerry-rigged plywood open container). Going through all the materials, I came across a GE box that has about 8 light tubes. They are slightly corroded on the end pins but all in tact. Don't want to throw them away; not sure if anyone has a garage or basement that uses them.

Let me know and they are yours.
