My passenger seat back vibrates and bounces back and forth when no one is sitting and drives me crazy. If I change the recline angle it helps a little but is still noticeable. My 2007 didn't do this and I'm wondering if anyone else with a 2012/2013 has experienced the same issue?

I checked it and couldn't find anything loose/wrong. Hate to waste my time taking it back to the dealer. Any advice? Thanks!

Too many to list, and I've probably forgotten a bunch.
I just noticed it this morning, before I found this thread. It's not making noise, so I don't care. If I put my backpack in the seat, it settles down. Whatever works, I guess.

Noticed it anytime on the highway i get over 50 mph. I am running BFG ko's. I figured it was just because of them, but it is annoying now that i know it is there

Mine's done it since the first day. It only does it when I hit a bump so it never was much of an issue. I took it in last week for this (and other things) and the service tech said that they couldn't find anything but re-tightened the bolts anyway. It hasn't done it as much, but still does it on occasion.

i think it has to do w/ the active headrest restraint (i think that's right) system that started in 09. i notice it on mine too and my 07 didnt do it.

I have not noticed it yet in mine. Guess what I'll be doing the next time I drive.. lol. So far, mines been very quiet inside minus the abundance of wind noise at speed.

This may be right as I took my headrests out for awhile and didn't notice the shake.. Or didn't pay attention.. I'll remove them again when I get back home and see.

mine still does it after them

i think the active headrest willy is built more into the seat and not just the headrest themselves.

My 2010 does it too. I had a 2005 4runner that did the same thing so it doesn't bother me much.

The dealer told me that it was because of the fold flat seat and there was nothing that could be done to fix it.

it happens on my 2010, drove me crazy for a while so I found a really good fix for it....... turned up the radio..... annoying vibrations gone!!! sort of.

I really don't think there is a serious fix for this. I have just gotten used to
    the noise being there. lol

My 2012 DC did it. And my 2013 DC does it. and my 1997 Nissan pickup did it too. I do not like it but I have gotten used to it.

I stopped the head rest from rattling by jamming a piece of a paint stick between the head rest arms. The passenger seat still rattled so I finally fixed that by putting small pillow between the seat and the rear passenger side door on my access cab. No more rattles. Of course anytime I open the rear door the pillow falls out. A small price to pay for no more rattles.
