Advice on buying high mileage

    I know these threads probably pop up a lot, but I found a taco on Craigslist that looks real nice, 1996 just passed emissions inspection, and it's listed for $4500. It's 4WD as well. My main concern is the miles are 373,400. To me the price seems high, but he claims the engine was replaced at 276,000, but has no paperwork to show for it. What's everyone think?

    BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
    Unless he has receipts for everything that's been done (and it should be alot) I'd pass or you'll be the one rebuilding it and rebuilding it ain't cheap. $4,500 is about 4k too much.
