who started the UPT that led to deletion? I'm assuming a user acct was deleted hence the thread went bye bye.

I dropped like 6k posts between those two thread...

Just in time for everyone's lunch break.

Pic of filter hidden behind shrubs. This is a pressurized filter partially recessed into the ground to hid it from view.

Dirty filter elements in the filter housing.

Dirty elements on work stand getting ready to be cleaned. I place the work stand over an area that could use some extra nutrients. The pond muck is really good for making things grow.

Cleaned elements ready to be reinstalled into the filter.

I usually clean the filter elements 3 to 4 times before replacing the elements. Since the sun is not so bright and it is getting cooler algae does not grow as fast. Cleaning intervals are now 3 weeks instead of 2 weeks.

This filter has a built in filter scrubber and I use it every week. Once the inside of the filter becomes clogged a better cleaning is needed. The elements can only stand 3 or 4 cleaning before they are worn out and need to be replaced.
