    So I tapped a new Toyota Avalon? on the 15th at the Walmart in Linda at a stop sign, and you can barely see the dent..... But it costs $1037 to get fixed!!! Gosh I knew it would be expensive but not that bad. Has anyone ever heard of a SR1? USAA said I have to fill one out and turn it into the CA DMV no later than 10x days from the accident?

    Reading up on the SR1 its a form that must be filled out and sent to the DMV if there is a MVA with death, injury or damage exceeding $750. Look at page 2.

    It's a form your insurance company should complete for you. They will have all the information.

    You can find the info here. Just says you had an accident that resulted in property damage over X dollars or someone was injured (or killed).

    anything over $1,000 in damage must be reported to the DMV. I had to do that when a lady backed into my front end and caused almost $3,000 worth of damage.

    They mail you the forms after to fill out, well State Farm did for me at least.

    I got into my truck this morning and had a Check Engine light and Tracktion Control light come on. I'm looking around for an OBD2 reader but haven't read the code yet. Anyone know what those two lights on together would mean?
