Depends on how good you are, some of the welders charge 95 to 110 an hour

But you'll need to be a journeyman with cwb at minimum. Than you need another 3000 to 4000 in safety courses. Than if you do want to make good money you need to have a truck with a welder and all the gadgets, so probably around 75k to 100k in truck and tools. And no it can't be a mig welder has to be a stick

You could go work I'm a shop which will pay anywhere from 35 to 55 an hour in the shop

But in a shop would mean you would need to move here and pay Canadian taxes and the tax bracket you would be in is around 35 to 40 % taxes (in theory I'm their but because I end up contracting I reduce my taxes to 20ish, so come tax season I'm usually getting 20% of my income back)

Any journeyman in Alberta should be in the 100 to 120 thousand per year range. If you work enough over time 160k easy

My buddy takes home in his pocket around 4500 every two weeks as a shop welder working around 50 hours a week

 

I loved my arb, they are a little more pricey but way better off in the long run for the added strength of the rear end

I personally cannot wait to ditch the e lockers in the Lexus

I love the simplicity of them but I'm going to probably build some stronger axles first

 

my next and last drive train mod till i sas will be a rear ARB.. already have a front ARB. Bitch is it's gonna get a rear arb and the the following year get pulled out and sold to fund the sas mod but i cant drive around on this welded rear end all year...

 

You should start the sas now so it's ready for Moab and I can have the 35/ before Moab

marks truck wouldnt have the power or weight to break the shit that i have.. I just really want tons. a pair of 4.88 arb'd diffs goes for 2K used.. i was going to sell everying thing else for $500 and it really depends on how much tire is left when i take it all off to sell.
