It's smaller than listed under the price...4" high and 5.25" diameter, so about the size of like a 50 stack of CD-R's haha.

havent had any issues with it. i needed to plug it in more often when my safe was in the garage, naturally...but now that the safe is in the house, i may need to plug it in once a month.

Bout to pick up my first pistol, any opinions? I really like the s&w m&p 9c, Beretta nano, and a ruger sr9 c. Found a special edition ruger for 449, the m&p 9c is 549, nano is 429.

Why not start a new dedicated thread to discuss this topic? We have a whole section for such discussions so no sense jacking this thread.

    Brand wars..

Just seems wasteful to me to start a thread that will only get a few responses. Not trying to step on any toes just looking for some honest opinions.

Seems 'wasteful' to start a new thread for a new topic rather than ruin an existing thread of another topic? Yeah, real 'wasteful'.

That's actually a good idea. I started a thread for a very specific firearm related question and got some great responses because people saw the title and came in to help out. Here, people are expecting to see gun porn :)

Just figure'd I could get a quick answer since I plan on making the purchase tomorrow. And I'll contribute if I can make my decision. I'll make a thread and maybe I can get some good advice this evening.

Bingo. Try to be as descriptive as possible in your thread heading and you will get better results. If you put something like 'Gun' or 'Help' or something else as unrelated you won't get but a post or two. I'm always amazed at the horrible thread subjects people come up with and then wonder why nobody responds. Most people only click on links that appeal to them. Best bet is to try to fill up the Title box with as many words as possible that relate to your topic. This is all most people will see after all unless they're interested.

Posting such things to an unrelated thread is NOT the best way to get a quick answer & even if you do it may not be accurate since you're relying on those who are subscribed to that actual thread rather than those who may be experts on the subject that aren't. The point is there is such a thing as forum etiquette and posting such off-topic things in unrelated threads won't win too many friends.

Also, this isn't the sort of thing you want to rush into anyway. Take your time.

I asked in here because I figured most of the gun guru's would def be subscribed. Plus, I'm used to participating in bs threads that don't really have a topic to get off of haha, sorry again.

I started a thread so maybe I'll get some good help. I've been looking on and off for a while and have it narrowed down, just need help making the best choice for me.

I think you answered your own question with the last four words of that post. Ultimately the 'what firearm...' question is one that is best left to the person asking since it's highly opinionated and what does someone else's opinion matter to you in the end?

So I have a Remington 700 SPS Tactical .308 with a Bushnell Tactical Elite 5-15X40 scope.

Ive probably put only around 100 rounds through the rifle.

If I were to ask for $1,100 for it, would that be way to high of an asking price?

Some outside input would be helpfull!
