    afe pro-dry S, flowmaster 40 series, ipod interface, black headlights, yellow fogs
    just ordered up my black headlights off ebay from revotec... seems like the ones everybody is pleased with..and ordered my yellow fog covers from laminex... feeling shitty i just spent 200 bucks but cant wait to make my truck look sick... i hope.. pics will be posted after install

    which ones did you buy? the halo ones? cause i wanted just blacked out ones without halos i've heard mixed things good and bad about the lifespan of halo lights anyone care to elaborate? :cool:

    i should probably not post pics of my BHLM that cost me $4 and a few hours that got better results (ie no leaking or melting) than his $200 though....:D

    What if in the few hours you spent on your lights, old buddy made $500 doing whatever he does. Then after purchasing the lights, he is still $300 up on the DIY mod. Food for thought.

    like, at his job? if he gets $500 for 3-4 hrs of work, i want his job ;)

    To some, the $300 is cheap insurance that they don't mess up the job and cause more damage.
    Some people have shops install their 5100's and pay $300+...others do it in 30 minutes.

    To each their own.


    To the OP, can't you sell your original headlights to recoup some of the expense? I thought you could get about $100 for them...maybe more.

    Yea, I will sell my OEM lights if I like my black headlights from revotec. Its nice to have a extra pair laying around though.....

    but if done by himself, he has the satisfaction of doing work on his own truck (thats what most of us are all about right, modding our trucks..).

    if bought, he has the satisfaction that he just paid china for his headlights...
