    Hi Guys,

I drove 612 miles today from San Diego to Red Bluff, CA on my way to the University of Oregon in Eugene!

The truck cruised at about 2100 RPM and when I was passing about 2500 - 2600 RPM!

Got 19 MPG on my first tank (over the Grapevine) and 17.5 MPG on the second tank (all flat @ 75 mph). I'm on the third tank now..

Truck crossed over 25,000 miles today!

I was very glad that I got my Snug Top Camper now that I'll be living in Oregon. Rain poured on me for about an hour today and all my stuff stayed dry!

I was also very glad that I had BFG AT/KO's in that rain today! They were much better than the Dunlops that came on the truck!

Nope, Oregon's on the quarter system, we start on the 30th. We have 1 term before Christmas, and 2 terms after Christmas so we go until mid June. Our summer just starts and ends later than most schools.

It was gonna be about $750 just in gas to get it down here. Over 2500 miles one way. Plus insurance costs and maintenance.. I'll hopefully have it next fall

Is it drier out that way? I would assume so.

Welcome to the great northwest! I used to drive about 850 miles in one day driving to school. Did that too many times.
