    Well ya know Gabe, out of the six 4x's I've had only this Tacoma hasn't been solid axle, first IFS, & after driving IFS for almost 5 years I can honestly say that the solid axle/axles are far stronger, less fussy, lower maint. ARE MORE STABLE (i love that one:))

    & I drove every other 4x just as fast if not faster (an 8500 lb full size truck is a diff. animal once all 4's are off) as the IFS & didn't really notice dramatic ride change, it still comes down to picking the right line at speed, pick it wrong & you'll get a ride that beats the shit out of you..

    Besides a 1st gen solid axle on coils looks soooo badass...:D

    This is true, I'll say it here & not the mobbers thread for flaming's sakes but thats the only area an IFS has a decent edge is just going balls out, even then you are limited to the amount of time & upgrades you've done at that moment (sans the $$$2800. Kings & simliar, uppers/lowers, you know what i mean tho'.. I've never had a problem going 60 + down a wash either way, IFS would get you down it smoother ...

    My friend has an 84 SA single cab and does 40+ through the whoops. I'm very surprised how well it does in the desert keeping up with the race trucks.

    Yes Alex, just pull a diode, nothing to it. I run that radio and it works well. Fits in the center console nicely as well.

    LS1-T56 swap, Z06 ported heads, cam, Titanium valves, Kevlar clutch. Now building a forged stroker (383) and all the ponies! Old setup was rod-knockin on heaven's door...
    Just open the radio, figure out which one you need to remove and just break it in half so the connection is broken, easy peasy. You dont even need to fully remove it, just break the connection.
