    Hey guys. I have been extremely busy with school and the home buying process so i haven't had time to get on here hope you guys are doing well.

    Anyone know someone who inspects homes as they are being built? They had someone come out already and that was a couple weeks ago. Problem is i went today to check on the progress and noticed something a bit off. To me the quality of the lumber looks pretty low. There are knots everywhere, some of the pieces do were trimmed to remove knots that ran the length of the board.
    This stuff looks like the type of wood i used to build forts with as a kid. Not something i would expect a home to b built out of.

    There was even a board that looked as if it had been sitting in the mud for a few days (was even discolored) nailed right into a perfectly clean board.

    Im starting to rethink buying this house. I just need to have someone who's certified come out and confirm it is indeed crappy wood. Maybe its not and i just have high standards. Obviously it cost money to have this done. I just do not know of a reputable guy to call.

    Everything looked good beside the lean, but yea the leafs might have a driver and pass side. Two ways to find out. One call the company and ask. Two take them out and swap them.
