    Took it to dealership for 80,000km service maintenance plus getting my duratracs 275/75 and 5100 Billy's put in at 1.75

    And of course they need the truck another day... Idiots

    Pretty sure they took a bunch of walk ins/ smaller jobs and pushed me back... What's the point of a appointment that was made a week ago?

    Dealerships are chapping my ass currently. I'm pretty sure I need to find a reliable mech in this backwards 2 bit town I live in

    I always take a trusty local mechanic over the dealership, and even when I have warranty work, recalls, service done at the dealer I check behind them to see that things were done right, or seems to behaving properly afterwards.

    The dealer doesn't care about you, and you're paying a premium to have some recent UTI grad do the work.

    True say... Unfortunately for me there isn't a good garage in town... I had a scheduled service so I figured I'd just get it all done there...

    Boy did I learn my lesson...

    For example they say they install 5100's all the time yet I had to explain multiple times there is 3 settings , 4 including 0....

    I just have no faith in them and your comment proves why hahah... Shit... Maybe I could get a job there haha

    From my experience at any mechanic, dealership or independent, it's always better for you to go in for one job at a time. i.e. Do the 80k service in one appointment, put in the Billys in another appointment, and get the tires installed at a different time. Group a bunch of jobs in one session, and they are bound to forget something.

    The Toyota dealers in my area have been pretty good. A mechanic that works on Toyota trucks all the time is going to do things more efficiently. Interestingly, my dealer outsources all lift and plate bumper installs to a 4WheelParts shop.

    A slew of pricey stuff my wife hates me for.
    The last guy at my dealer was a mid-40's halfwit who couldn't figure out to use a 19mm thin walled socket to get my wheels off. So... Yeah, I'm very confident in their abilities.

    On the plus side, the service manager seems to be knowledgable.

    Same viscosity as 75W90 when cold. Better stability when hot. I get chatter with 75W90 Castrol Syntec sometimes.
