 So only his can do that because it's made of awesome? I've been following his build for a bit too. I chat with him on here frequently. His build is the reason my build is heading the way it is. haha

I live in north east los angeles and I bought a 4WD because you idiots wont shut up about it. Now I have to go off road or ill feel like a stupid jerk!!

Although 4x2 with off road would have been more than what I needed for desert sand.

You will be glad to have a 4X4 even if the sand is only slightly deeper than it looks. Besides, somebody in Southern California has to have a 4X4 to pull out all the stuck Prerunners.

ok, the jeep is kind of neat.

I like checking into these threads periodically to see where they go. kind of thinking I need to long-travel my 4x4.. . .

since this thread is full of useless, im going to vent. finally got a work truck a month or two back (some may know of my troubles with it if they frequent the off-topic thread). right after I got it, I was slapped with a bad battery in it, the welder, the car, and my taco. replaced my vehicles' and the welder's as the truck would still start. so I let it go.

today, I had trouble starting it this morning and this afternoon. drive to the shop to finally replace the work truck's battery. done. try and start it and hear a new noise after it cranked over. stupid starter is stuck wide open.

welp, back to the "company Tacoma". other half gets home and she thinks I got demoted cause there's no work truck in the driveway. . . . ."no baby, not yet, they didn't take the truck from me, I fuckin wrecked it" lolol

wonder if this means the starter will go bad in the taco and car too

No way I am taking delivery of my 2014 today at noon!

So the real question is who gets to invest in the tow strap?

Sadly i have a 2wd. Couldnt find a used 4wd taco anywhere around metro atlanta when we were looking. I would rather have something older and cheaper to go bang around in the woods with.

4WD, if you live outside of a major center in Alberta you'd be a bit slow to buy a 2WD truck :). Only major highways get plowed, if you want to be able to get to work better have the 4WD available.

TRD DCLB 4X4 here, although I live in sunny California and go up the mountains with snow occasionally. I want peace of mind that goes with having the 4X4 capability that I know I can rely on when needed. Godspeed.

4x4 of course. I tow a snowmobile trailer into the mountains all winter. Also live on a hill in the country. Plus I don't have a vagina.

    Hahaha!
