Hey everybody. im thinking about getting some bilstein 5100's for christmas and i was wondering what they would look like set on 2.5 with the rest of the truck stock. ive searched around and all i can find is pictures of them with the eibach coils or lifted all the way around. I only have enough money to get the front lifted a little bit so it would be more level or a little bit higher. can someone please post pictures of this? or give me the link to where i can find pictures like this? thanks a lot!!

Here are some pictures of my bro lean (3" eibachs with stock in the back) I didn't get my All-Pro expo leafs due to error on their part so I was stuck with the bro lean for over a month

I'm gonna reiterate, bro lean sucks... and you feel like a douchebagel rollin' around with the nose up in the air.... but it's your truck so do what you will! :D

Don't tell me you searched and didn't find it....I call bullshit.

If you're looking to level out, good choice but don't set it at 2.5, use the 1.75 notch. Once you left the rear you can replace the coil (recommended) or raise the c-ring up to to setting off desired height

well eventually i need new leafs cause mine are shot. so i was wondering if i should set it to 1.75 now and change it to 2.25 when i get the new leafs? or just go ahead and lift it to 2.25. cause I was wondering how much "bro lean" it would have haha. I might just level it until I get the new leafs and then change them once I save up enough money for that

Last time I checked, the RCD 5100 Bilstiens for 1st gens only had 3 positions for lift setting. They were 0, 1.25" and 2.5". No setting for 1.75 or 2.25.

These numbers of course are all relative and what you end up with will depend a lot on the condition of your stock coils. Are your coils the 'progressive' type found on Tacomas equiped with a TRD package or are they the non-progressive type?

OP, I say go for the highest (2.5") setting with your stock coils and see what you get. You may or may not end up with bro-lean, depends on the condition of your rear suspension.

Just a warning that it's definitely a shittier ride with the shock providing the lift height
