I put mobile 1 in my rear diff. Its was like ~$10/qt iirc but it only takes 3qts and it is already compatible with auto LSD

Because its gunna be a super gnar expo truck brochacho! lol

Matt, be sure you reinforce your bumper mounts. Everyone I have seen with LT and a plate bumper has bent or broken them.

Pelfreys plate bumper ties into the sway bar mounts with some beefy gnar gnar brackets/gusset type assembly. Kind of eliminates the need to beef the stock mounting area. But more is always better I guess.

The bracket/gusset is the piece with the L shaped weld. You can see the gold color bolt in the hole...that goes from the bumper to the bracket. The bracket looks as if it eliminates the crush zone on the frame because it ties into the sway bar mount holes behind the crush zone.

    Bumper looks good Matt!!

lol. Idk, I agree with Rodger. Its a badass bumper but personally im not a fan of the side hoops. Idk why but I think of a dragonfly when I see them. I guess if someone got the bumper and didn't like the hoops, they could always cut them off. Its mod-able. lol

In response to all.......thanks for the kind words :)

I am going LT, but I will be reinforcing the mounts, brackets, and plating the frame where it mounts. I've always been a fan of the 3 hoop, and nobody has done it with fiberglass (as far as I've seen), so I wanted to try it. I think it came out great, the side hoops are very functional because now even the glass is protected.

I will jump my truck again, but not until I'm 100% confident the mounts and gussets can take the beating. Besides, if you do the suspension right, and get it all tuned correctly, you shouldn't be coming down hard enough to break anything like that.

The goal for my rig is the best of both worlds...LT and fiberglass for high speed stuff, 4x4 and plate bumpers for protection on rocks. Will it work and not look like the owner has split personality disorder? Only one way to find out... :D

But wouldn't benefit me at all...

I do want a rear plate tho

Isn't it 35mm? You can find large sockets in the tool sections at most decent auto part*stores, harbor freight, or sears.

Do you plan on reinforcing your tire mount?
