Hey guys, only a week away from the Open House weekend at the IROHV park in Gilbert MN - Just an hour from Duluth, three from the Cities.

You all should probably make the trip. :)

I'm over in Ashland, WI and spend alot of time commuting to Duluth as it is the closest thing to civilization! Tons of good wheeling opportunities in Northern WI.... Let me know if you ever want to come over and hit the fire roads in the Forests.

New tacoma owner. I live in Chisholm. I'm about 80 miles north of Duluth. I think it would be really cool if we could get a lot us tacoma owners together for a bbq and go for a cruise.

Welcome, sounds like you're only 30 minutes from the OHV Park. If offroading interests you at all and your not able to make it this weekend, I'd love to host a Toyota meet up in Gilbert some time in August/September. (4Runners, FJ's and Tacomas)

Have any of you guys been to the Spider Lake off road area? http://www.dnr.state.mn.us/ohv/trail_detail.html?id=27

I'm going to be in Pequot Lakes next week and would like to find some ORV places around there to explore and test out my new armor and winch maybe. Any other places around Brainerd that I could go with a truck?

Hey guys, sorry for not checking in on this thread pretty much all summer. But, for fun I built my bumper, upgraded to 33x10.5x15 KM2's and shredded my rear diff. Just went to 4.88's due to that and just saw this sweet double cab on the way in to work this morning, ARB front bumper with a winch, skids, sliders, coilovers up front didn't catch the rear setup though. Haven't seen it on the forum at all, but hey, if it's you, say hi.

ISU - Did you end up checking any of those areas out?

I didn't get to explore much since it rained 75% of the days I was up there. It was a mess of mud everywhere. Even the 4 wheelers were having a tough time getting around. There's about 20 miles of unimproved class B roads and random dirt trails around that spider lake area that look like they would be fun though.
