Anyone in NorCal hunt? With multiple seasons opening soon, who wants to get a TacomaWorld hunt meet going??

It has more stuff done to it now.
I have hunted dove and pheasant before. I have wanted to hunt larger game for a really long time now and am currently in the market for a .308Win Rem 700 VTR. I was going to wait for the next gun show to see if I could get lucky and find a used one but it might be easier for me to just order it online, and have it shipped to my favorite FFL owner...

My sister's boyfriend just got done with a hunting trip in Alaska that kinda went bad but it made me want to go on a hunting trip even more. Due to rain it cause the pick-up plane to not be able to land where they were hunting and they ended up having to stay an extra week. They had supplies air dropped into them and their 2 caribou went to waist because they didn't make an earthen refrigerator.

So yes I could possibly be persuaded into a hunting trip.

Nice! I'll let you know next time I go. Pheasant just closed for a bit. But this weekend is opening for Deer. I'm going to go with a buddy and help spot/guide him. We'll see how many weekend warriors are out there with their entire family. I hate opening days, but I love getting out there more.

Dove season kick backs up and Duck season starts. So I'll definitely let you know. I have buddies that have private land/blinds all over NorCal.

I'm hella down, but I need a new IT job first before I can buy a shotgun.

If we can get some wild boar tags, we can do an awesome roast pig on a spit.

I'm in, I havent hunted since I left FL. The Cali laws kind of scared me off of it.
    But, count me in.

I saw this post and was confused for a bit as it's 1332 for me. Then I realized you probably have your posts per page at 40 and it's 666.

I guide for ducks and geese from Sac refuge area down to South of Sutter. The only animal to actually do a social hunt for is pheasant though, which is easy to do with planted clubs.

im not a fan of the new ones. The owner of the local one here called me to come check them out and they are really nice inside and suspension. I just cant get past the front end and the tailgate.

The 2014 Tundra is to the 2013 Tundra as the 2012 Tacoma was to the 2011 Tacoma.

    Thanks to everyone who responded!

During some neighborhood canvassing we were put in contact with a lady who runs a community Facebook page and has a knack for re-uniting lost pets with their owners.

We kept her overnight and the owners were able to get in contact with us and we were able to return the dog to her family. My lovely girlfriend reminded them about the importance of microchipping and tags, and they had never even heard of microchips for pets.

So it had a happy ending. Except for my girlfriend who desperately wanted to keep her, and Ferny who would've been next on the list if nobody came forward to claim her. We ruled out a shelter last night, none of us would be able to surrender a dog that sweet to a County shelter.

Gorgeous dog. I would love to take her off your hands if you must give her to a shelter but hopefully she will be reunited with her owner soon.

EDIT: Glad she made her way home!
