    I don't think it needs to be. All of my leafs (except the mounting leaf) are from a 1/2 ton chevy.

    Might not work - the center pin on 2nd gen is dead center, on a first gen it's off-center (not sure towards rear or front). At least that's what I remember from old man Doug's thread on spring rebuilds.
