When you select A or B it lets you customize the tunes as you wish. Then you can have a few preset tunes to choose from.

For example, you can set up 3 different tunes to choose from at one time.
Let's say you set up tune A for premium fuel and performance shifting, then you set up tune B for premium fuel and stock shifting, and tune C for regular fuel and performance shifting.
Then, if you ever need to switch you just go to install download, select tune and you can choose a, b, or c.

sfcadams, have you called in yet like we talked about in the pm? Haven't heard from you since.
    Thanks.

I see now. Does BD ever do group buys on the accessories like the module for the AFR readings or why cant they have that in the unit and all a person would have to do is install the sensor

Sadly I think most of us just want to know about where to get more power. Not all the little accessories it talks about.

I don't think the Tacoma has any special features other than the seatbelt chime. Even with the Toyota TIS, all I can see is the seat belt chime for the Tacos, the Tundras on the other hand have a bunch of stuff to enable or customize.

Whoever has one of these puppies, it would be super cool if a video review was done. Maybe a run thru of the screens and options and crap. It's just fun to see it in action.

The Tacoma definitely has less features available. That doesn't have anything to do with the tuner. The tuner communicates with the ecu, and if the ecu doesn't offer that feature, then the tuner can't do anything about that. Even some of the fully loaded Tacoma's struggle with the special functions. In my (unprofessional) opinion, the Tacoma is a much cooler truck and I'd like to see Toyota put a little more time into them.
I saw a video the other day where a Tacoma was compared to a Raptor, and at 15,000 less on the price tag it only came like 50 points (on a scale of 500 I believe) behind the Raptor. It was really impressive. But the Tacoma is built a little more rugged than the Tundra, which might be part of the reason behind less functions being available.
We're going to be changing the wording on our website spreadsheet that shows the features so that is less confusing. We stated on our website that functions are vehicle independent, but we've noticed it has still confused a few people so we're going to change that up. Thanks for all the feedback! I'd also like to see a video review from a end user. As Bully Dog I can post and post about how great it is, but that doesn't really compare to one of your buddies saying the same thing. ;)

 that's very impressive, im pretty sure that everyone wants to know even myself was wondering whats the detail of the tuner like the premium tune with the performance shift, or even the regular tune, and also if I use the premium tune do I have to run premium gas?

I will try to post a video of the Bully dog unit running and go through some screens. I will also do a video of me really getting on it. What does everyone want to see?

Personally, I've only driven the Tacoma with the tune on and it was dang quick. But I hear they're pretty fast to start off with, so that might not be new news. :D

You can run regular gas, but recommended is premium. The big different between regular tune and premium is the timing, so if you're at a higher elevation you're safe to run a lower octane on the higher octane tunes, but if you're closer to sea level then be a little more cautious if you decide to do so.

Wesley, I put my tune to stock and noticed the timing difference. Also the idle is about 200 rpm higher in Stock setting
