Cold is pretty much gone. Got all my exterior and interior walls done at the model home. Only have the garage walls to build as soon as I get the material for it.

Quality construction

 

Yup. Thankfully it has brick going all around the house so we were able to cheat walls a bit here and there to kind of hide the issues. The owner of the company we are working for stopped by today and told us to 'really pimp this house out since its the model home'. My boss looked at him and said something along the lines of, now you tell us? The house is fucking built. Lol

 

I am really glad I'm not in the construction trade.

In fact, I am pretty happy I am not in the actual "aircraft maintenance" world at the moment either. I don't have to deal with people telling me "to make it work," even though that means jerry rig some shit.

Isn't that the reason they typically sell the "model" home for so cheap? Because it was the first one built, so it is most likely shoddy work?

 

If the same foundation guys are doing all the other houses , why would they be any better ?
