    Lift? yes 5100's
Bumper? I actually was thinking about schrockworks color matched
    SC? yes. URD

35's are a new idea once i found out you can do it without lifting any more.

Gage, You realize with LT you will be wider and even harder to get through some of those tight spots.......

Its always changing. haha i thought mine would end up like Allpros truck..kinda did..but not..haha

    7'' wider

but thats a full LT front kit.

2nd gen guys can opt for a +2 over kit so only 4'' totall width gain. But you still gain a lot of travel.

    I don't have that option..

So is there a How-to on the fender and fender flare chopping to fit 35s?

    not really..

    pretty simple to do.

just need a sharpie, old ruler, old pen, some painters tape, drill and your cutting device of choice.

with the ruler you drill some holes in it. one to hold the pen through and one for the sharpie. Meassure out the distance you want to cut off the fenders and make the holes that far apart.

then stick the pen through one hole and hold the sharpie in the other. run the pen along lip of the fender and it'll trace a line just like how the fender looks but 2'' or whatever distance you decided on further up the fender.

    then just cut.

here is a visual of what i mean.

    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2nd-gen-builds/157700-nyco-build-thread-90.html#post7163800

We can easily cut your fenders at my place even with no 35s mounted if ya want.

the real tricky part is you'll probably need to do the Cab mount Chop mod and maybe trim your bumper. Can do that too at my place but you'll need the tires for that.

    I hate mud..seriously..sucks.

i gave up on pin stripes. Especially with the green body but i was half fucked anyways when i got it. My old body i tried to keep sorta nice as the pint was in good shape.

wraping the truck would be cool though.

Yea just big holes. But you can buy rubber sheets and make mud guards.

I was going to do that with my glass fenders..still haven't. Water gets flung up there just as much and cleans em out.

in here for pics of carnage!!! Pretended I had LT today  I'll post pics later. Found more awesome roads for LT. My truck handled everything really well today tho, cant really complain too much, only got tossed around once cuz I didn't see a wash coming lol. I upped the pressures in my shocks all around to about 180 psi of nitro and the damping is waaaaay better!

don't forget tubing thinkness too. If you have a tube going up to make the roof rack that gives you a loss of 1.5'' as thats the sizing i would recomend you use. so now push everything back 1.5'' and it gets super tight now.

tire carriers are going to vary on which rear bumper you get. they all vary. Mind does have about 2'' i think if i remember right from the tire mount post to the tail gate IF that. BUT! my tire also angles towards the truck so the top edge of the tire is dang near even with the tail gate and in you case..touching the box.

No idea on my dads though and Bobby at bruteforce makes his tries straight up and down. CBI does not, they tilt them as well.

also with a roof rack like that you could add gussets to the bottom like you drew, but it still wouldn't hold a ton of weight. still hold a nice bag or something though and an LED bar or other lights.

Ill show you a rack id make for an LED bar. Keeps it very low profile very cool looking. Take me a while though to find it..

as for the stove on there..i like that idea in terms of saving space and what not..but when your on 35s and LT..that thing is gonna be HIGH up in the air. Be a PAIN to put wood in it don't you think?? Youd also end up cutting a whole in one of your windows on the tent..

I like the box idea and if you use those slim boxes like Adam has they will fit easy. Only 6'' wide and 42'' long i think. You could probably put a jerry can back there still too.

I still think you wouldn't end up liking the box there tho. You'd only have like 12'' to pull stuff out of the truck on the tail gate side...plus now fridge will fit very easy right there..

again..all my opinions. Build what you want

Mounting the boxes will be easy. Drill some holes, put some bolts through em and just have them line up with holes in the tubing on the bed rack.

or use turn buckles on the handles and the bed rack.

already said my thoughts on this above..

Okay..so the tubing that you have run from the bed rail up to just over the roof. That is going to rob you you of 1.5''. see what i mean? the tent isn't goin to sit flush agains the cab..cause you'll have tubing going up over the cab..

like this..minus the angled back rails as your not doing that..

    a3853d0f_5ea50be67c89156920129095f9b7faa95a78a535.jpg

now you could have the tent as close the cab as possible..but your rack would look like this..and no roof section..

    b39bf42f_d8e17e4babb43515c790845c46678579b31249f0.jpg

    make sense??

Plus you wont' be able to use that window at all. on that side anyways as it'll be too close to use the rods to hold open the flap.

and i guess idk what your talking about for the stove..sounds too complex though..simple is better man ;)

A bumper here, some tires there..... you know, stuff.
i'm going to agree with monte. you are going to start getting really tight on space up there. zipers being too close to stuff is why i made mine skinny so the zippers are fully accessible.

on another note. any reason to tilt the tire on the swingout? i don't see any great benefits to it really.

the idea of the tire tipped is so that if you go up a super steep section, it won't drag as much on the ground.

I mostly fixed mine as it was tipped back and that allows ti to drag more.

and yea at some miricale mine is the exact width of my tent. BUT i also ran the bars that run parallel to the bed rails in set more(thank god) which allows for easier access to everything really.
