    Yeah. I've been on this "diet" for around 3 years and have gotten it down to a pretty basic, repetitive schedule. Found my caloric needs to gain weight and got my protein, fats, and carbs adjusted enough to gain muscle, but not too much fat and without being tired or anything. I've been content with this 'diet', as I've put on about 50 lbs in the past few years.

    saw something interesting this morning, dude was doing barbell curls in front of the water fountain

    look.....i have nothing but respect for the members of our armed forces......


    .....but.....


    .....the army rotc guys here on campus are the douchiest people in the gym. they all come in at once and take up every rack, bench, and machine and a group of 5 of them will stand around talking while one guy benches or squats 95lbs with a 5 minute rest. they never unload the weights off the bar, and they'll steal all the dumbells....they will literally have 4 sets of dumbells sitting in front of them so they can curl 15s

    ok, got that out of my system, i'm ok now
    fried my shoulders today
    anyway, i found out that the only lift i suck at is flat bench
    i'm ok on incline, decline, etc. but for some reason my flat bench is garbage :confused:

    Na just kidding...I bet that's annoying as hell.

    What got by bench up was doing more low rep, high weight chest exercises. And according to CT Fletcher, the best exercise to improve your bench is weighted chest dips. It's a regular dip, but you lean forward, so your head is like a foot in front of your torso. Put enough weight on that you can only do 6-7. Lastly, switch up how you do exercises is important too...keep those muscles confused. Do flat bench one week and dumbbell bench or a machine the next.

    Ex.
    bench: 4 sets of 6 reps
    incline: 4 sets of 6 reps
    decline: 4 sets of 6 reps
    dips: 4 sets of 6 reps

    Rembember:
    low reps (6-8), high weight = strength
    high reps (8-12), lower weight = size

    That pretty much sums up the frat boys at my school haha. I either go at 6am before they wake up of after 930pmbecause that's when the sorority girls leave so the frat boys have no one to show off to haha. ROTC are not dbags at my school. Most are pretty cool actually.
