I just think it's a good conversation with NFL enthusiasts about the rules and how it plays out on the field etc. I thought the writer of this article was the first guy to come at it with evidence and a neutral opinion.

This picture, and the reverse, tell the story. At this point Tate has possession, Jennings by rule can not because he is not on the ground at all.

It is a good conversation, i dont disagree. I honestly have no idea where i was going with what i was saying lol(late night interwebz ftw). Probably something to do with that im just tired of hearing about Seattle and SF. So just ignore me and carry on...

The way i saw it was both had possession, and if both have possession it defaults to the receiver getting the catch, correct?

Why not? Seems like a good discussion. And why would I want it to change?

    Who f-ing cares?

Its not like you can change it...your team won the game, however it happened, they won, deal with it.

    Therefore, Seattle TD.

Lets start a new conversation. Like where did the cheifs come from and where did the giants/steelers go?

The chiefs had talent and were just really under performing with a terrible QB.

The Giants will level out and be around 500, 7-9 or 8-8. The Steelers are done, that franchise needs to go into full rebuild mode.

I don't disagree but I'm a fan of football which is a lot more than just wins.

KC definitely overpaid for Matt Cassel having a good year in NE, but hell I coulda quarterbacked that team to a winning record.

NYG will be okay, 500 is doable for sure. Steelers have no run game now and that's a big problem for their style.

Honestly... I'd like to see the pansy calls, weaksauce flags stop, and the stoppage of game to review otherwise properly called calls, to recall the call, and revert first downs. The stoppage of play disrupts the game more than anything, and it takes away from the entire experience. I'm tired of stopped play games. I'm tired of the Two Hand Touch league. I thought it was football. It seems more like South Park Sarcastaball

They make too much money off of selling the commercial time to even give a fuck about the flow of the game. Commercial, kickoff, commercial, first play, commercial

You feel it at the games too. This is my last year of being a season ticket holder since I don't have 400k chilling for seat licenses... But damn, it is ridiculous.

Good win Niners! Hopefully their season bounces back.

And why the hell are we still talking about that controversial catch? The fact that a Seahawks fan brought it up out of nowhere just makes me think how much does that fanbase really need to defend themselves?! Jeez! You won that game!! Get over it

To be honest, that win helped the Niners in the long run. At the end of the season, the Niners had one more win than the Packers, so the Niners had homefield advantage against the Packers. Not that it mattered anyway since the they ultimately lost in the big one :(
