Also, I just bought a smittybuilt trifold for $180 brand new from some guy that works at 4wheelparts here in Memphis. Couldn't turn it down.

 

Fuck 4wheelparts!! And just looking at those slider pieces makes me not wanna touch it. Haha

Hey serious question that kinda doesn't relate to that. How interested were you in that Fuse Box mount I had? Because It won't fit my truck. I was thinking if you wanted to help me fab up a different (and I supply the aluminum) I can just give you that one without cutting it all to hell.

I am from Atlanta but wanted to inform the Tennesse members about the 1st Annual 4X4 Truck Show in Tennesse next month! (btw sold my Tacoma and got a Tundra so i will be showing it!)

There will be a 1st-2nd-3rd trophy for american made 4wdtrucks

at the Cleveland TN dealer? kinda near chat? if so may come down and meet some people and just look, may not show my truck.(not really show worthy imho) i’m not to far I’m up in the knoxville area.

Also I just scored a Dana 30 and Dana 35, both in great condition for only $100. I'm probably going to Dixie run this weekend but I'll have to swap the axle shafts in the front since the new axles have good ujoints in them.

 

Dude he was trippin balls over it. Lol he thought that shit was fuckin genius. And I need that thing. I was gonna make one for myself but I'm down with making one for you and taking that one. All I need is the plate and we can swap the fuse block and breaker over to the new one for your truck. We can even make one for the supra while we at it. I think he was just trippin over the idea of it cause we haven't come up work an idea for a fuse panel for the car yet and really that's perfect

 

Uh oh. First car show!! If you build a mall crawler then you may as well participate in mall crawler events. and u know Taylor ain't comin. He don't wanna get shown up by you at the show. They'll take one look at his headlights and hand you the gold ribbon. Haha

And sell the 30, its crap. The 35 is good for 35s but ain't gonna take very much abuse before it turns to crap. Sell both and find a 44 or 60

And the 30 is a fairly decent axle. Last longer than a 35. I'd just like spare shafts and gears. And for only $100 that'd be a good deal for the axle shafts alone

I agree with Gideon on the 30 and 35's Look around on a jeep forum and you'll find a lot about them. Some break turning 33's.

 

Shit people!! I've got a D30 and D35 in my jeep right now on 33's! Hahaha I know they're not the best, if I felt like spending $800 I'd get a D44 and ford 8.8 but for $100 it'd be nice to have 2 completely spare axles. Especially not having to change out the ujoints in my axle now. I'd just have to replace the shaft.

They are not strong axles. I'd take my axle over a 30 or 35 any day. But ........... Weston u right. For a $100 you should def get them for backups or whatever until you wanna spend a lil more and go 44, 60 or 9"

 

don’t bother. we all know weston makes crazy choices! 1st a jeep, now he turned his taco in to a mall crawler. I think it should be the other way around but what ever.
