    yeah when I was in ROTC none of us went to the school gym... we either ran outside, did body weight exercise... or I took some people to my gym... that's about it
    university gyms suck haha

    It is the opposite. High weight low reps = strength and size.
    Lower weight higher reps = Muscle tone, muscle endurance and also some strength.

    From my own experience, whenever I've done 8 weeks for really high weight and really low reps (4 sets of 6-8), my strength shoots up, but my size stays the same. And when I do a program of moderate weight with high reps (4 sets of 10-15) my size starts growing.

    High reps gets you toned up more, but for pure strength and upping your numbers, low reps is the way to go.

    That's just trial and error from my perspective, though. Everyone's different! Can't hurt to try, though...well, it can, but not for too long:D

    My university's gym is pretty legit. Not the biggest, but has 4 racks, so I usually don't have to wait very long. They also have gym patrol, which are the people that work there patrolling around, controlling the non-sense of typical gyms. (slamming of weights, leaving bars loaded, leaving dumbbells in the wrong area, and general idiocy that gets quite annoying.

    Did legs today, thanks to Sean for the killer workout.

    Instead of smith machine I used regular squat rack. And I couldn't finish the last two workouts.
