First off, I have a 2009 TRD Sport with 17's. I've spent probably four hours scanning through posts trying to figure this out. I understand that I can go up to a 265/70-17 with no mods, but I would like to replace the stock rims with some Ultra Beadlocks or some Ballistic Jesters. The piece I cannot figure out is what wheel specs can I also change to without making mods. I just want to fill the wheel wells a bit and add a more aggressive tread. If I understand correctly, stock 17's are 0mm/5.5? How wide are the stock rims?
Do I need to keep the same size/offset/backspace if I make the move to the 265/70-17?

Ok....didnt see that one. Thanks for the link. Do I need to keep those same specs on a replacement rim if I make the move to 265/70-17's to maintain no mods and no rubbing issues?

Toyota trucks have 106mm hub bore;). 108mm is what's usually offered as a "one size fits all" type of wheel.

Are you willing to do any trimming at all? For the most part, you would only be cutting a little bit of the plastic liner. It's really a piece of cake.
