    Forsure. I just dont see myself towing a travel trailer or car hauler that big. For towing a wheeling rig, a gasser would work just fine.

    Thats not a very good reason lol. Unless your hauling and towing a lot or working as a contractor theres no point in getting a diesel. And if you do, i would just lease one and trade up every couple years. New diesels lose their value very quick (up here they do at least). And they are a fortune to maintain

    I could actually get better mpg out of a Duramax over another Tacoma sadly...

    Also the fact that I'll probably move to a different state every 3-5 years would be good reason to have one.

    Diesels hold their value pretty well down here. An 05 Duramax with over 120,000 miles still sells for over $20,000 easily.

    True. Better MPG and 480HP...reliably. It's crazy how much power you can get out of the Dmax. It's pretty easy to build a 12 second pickup, that you can drive to work every day. Here's my wife's, sometimes she even let's me drive it! lol
