She picked it out, the lift, tires wheels, etc, and she makes the payments on it. I like it. A lot. During hunting season I drove over 100 miles in 4lo with it, and gained a whole new respect for the beast. Yes, it's heavy, but for what it is it will go some amazing places! Plus, for serious offroad we have the taco and bikes.

I like them, but I like the 05-07's better  I'd love to have this one, minus the wheels.

Eh, I've always thought of GMC as the red-headed stepchild to Chevy :notsure: Never seen a GMC that I liked better than the Chevy.

I hate how overly big those trucks got. Even the tundra really. It's so Unnecessary. But because American culture has brought us up to think we need big trucks to somehow fulfill our sense of manhood or something. They just get bigger and bigger and boxier and horrible looking.

    Just dumb.

    Also my opinion.

100% agree! One of the reasons I like the older style I posted. It's a bit smaller of a truck haha
Yup, still like the Chevy better.

The bumper is just way too big. But id guess it has something to do with airflow for the giant rads and coolers on those things

Agreed. I could haul anything I need to by bicycle. Does that mofo look happy to you? Would he be happier with 800 ft lbs of torque under a skinny pedal? Fork ya. 'Murica.

I still hold the mindset that nowadays vehicles will last you close to the same amount of time as long as their properly maintained. It's really just looks and past performance that's the deciding factor now...

Totally agree about purpose for application. But for towing a SAS toyota pickup or 4runner, a 2nd gen Tacoma or even 1st gen Tundra would work just fine

800ft/lbs of torque is fine. But why does the entire truck HAVE to be oversized.

Tow capacity. The heavier the truck the heavier the load it can control. It's mostly government crash test horsepuckey. The Dmax is still narrower than my LT taco, although it is longer be a couple feet.
